Pumps and pressure controllers
Fig. 1 presents a 400 MPa pump and a pressure controller with manual and computer actions. Both volume and pressure can be used as programmed variables in linear, step-wise or other modes. A constant pressure (isobaric) control is also possible. The total internal volume is ~9 ml and the resolution in volume variations is ~5 10-6 ml. Higher (up to 700 MPa) and lower pressures are also possible. A typical 100 MPa pump has an internal volume of ~200 ml and a resolution in volume variations ~1.5 10-3 ml. Standard construction material for high pressure active parts is stainless steel, however other materials, such as hastelloy C22, are also possible and can be negotiated.

Fig. 2 presents typical high pressure dosing piston pumps which can deliver extremely stable liquid flows. Standard construction material is here also stainless steel, however other materials, such as hastelloy C22, are possible and can be negotiated.
